【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationspecifiesamethodofdeterminingthebagginessofleathertogetherwithitscreepandstressrelaxationproperties.Itisapplicabletoallnon-rigidleathers.e.g.shoeupperleather,upholsteryleather,leathergoodsleatherandapparelleather.Leatherisaviscoelasticmaterialand,uponremovalofanyappliedforce,onlyaproportionoftheextensionobservedisrecovered.Evensometimeafterremovaloftheforcethereissomedegreeofpermanentdeformationwhichisknownastheretainedsetorbagginessoftheleather.Duetothenatureofthetestmethoddescribedbelowitisalsopossibletoobtainameasureofthecreepandstressrelaxationpropertiesofleather.Althoughthecreepindexquotedisnotobtainedviathetruedefinitionofcreep,itwillhoweverprovideavaluablecomparativeindicationofthispropertyinleather.
