【摘要】:Nonvolatilematterinsolventscanadverselyaffecttheircleaningproperties.Thesetestmethodscanbeusedtocontrolsoilcontaminationintheboilingsolvent,whichifallowedtobecometoohigh,candecreasethestabilityofthesolvent.Thesetestmethodscanbeusedtoestablishmanufacturingandpurchasingspecifications.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofnonvolatilematterinhalogenatedorganicsolventsandadmixtures.1.2Fivetestmethodsarecovered,asfollows:1.2.1TestMethodA8212;Forhalogenatedorganicsolventsoradmixtureshavinglessthan50ppmnonvolatilematter;orwhereprecisionbetterthanx00B1;10ppmisrequired.1.2.2TestMethodB8212;Forhalogenatedorganicsolventsoradmixtureshavingmorethan50ppmnonvolatilematterorwhereprecisionofx00B1;0.001%(10ppm)issatisfactory.1.2.3TestMethodC8212;Forlow-boilinghalogenatedorganicsolventsortheiradmixtures(forexample,methylenechloride,trichlorotrifluoroethane)thatmaysuperheatandcausebumpingwhileevaporatingtodrynesswithsteam.Aprecisionofgreaterthanx00B1;10ppmcanbeattained.1.2.4TestMethodD8212;Forrapidmeasurementofnonvolatilematterinhalogenatedorganicsolventsandtheiradmixturesandwhereprecisionbetterthanx00B1;10ppmisrequired.1.2.5TestMethodE8212;Forhalogenatedorganicsolventsoradmixturesandwhereprecisionbetterthanx00B1;10ppmisrequired.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
