【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardmakesrecommendationsforandgivesguidanceonhealthandsafetypracticesinshaftsinkingandtunnelling.Guidanceonhealthandsafetyinthemaintenance,renovationandrepairofshaftsandtunnelsisalsoincluded.Thestandardincludeshealthandsafetyrecommendationsthatarealsorelevanttocut-and-covertunnellingandimmersedtubetunnels.Therecommendationsarenotspecificallyintendedtoapplytotheconstructionofshaftsortunnelsforthepurposeofwinningminerals.NOTE1Thedesign,manufactureanduseofplantandmachineryarereferredtoonlywheresafetyconsiderationsareaffected.VariousEuropeanStandardsrelatingtothedesignoftunnelboringmachines(TBMs)arecurrentlyinpreparation.NOTE2AlistofcurrentlegislationrelatingtotunnelconstructionisgiveninAnnexA.
