【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversgeneralandbasicproceduresrelatedtotheproperinstallationofthermoplastic,flexible,pressurepiping,36in.nominalsizeandsmaller,forundergroundirrigationsystems.Becausethereisconsiderablevariabilityinend-userequirements,soilconditions,andthermoplasticpipingcharacteristics,itistheintentofthispracticetooutlinegeneralobjectivesandbasicsofproperinstallationandtoprovidepertinentreferences,ratherthantoprescribedetailedinstallationprocedures.1.2Thispracticeshouldnotbeusedforinstallingthermoplasticundergroundsewer,drain,potablewater,conduitorgasservicepiping.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Valuesinparenthesesaregivenforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
